The National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT) aims to support the induction of newly qualified teachers (NQTs) into the teaching profession (primary and post primary) through the provision of a range of professional supports.

The National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT) will host Post-Primary Droichead Principal Information Sessions in a number of venues during the week of the 12th to the 15th of November 2018. These sessions will take place between 1-2pm in the following Education Centres:
A number of mechanisms are in place to assure the quality and consistency of the Droichead process nationally. The Droichead Quality Assurance Report relating to the 2016/2017 school year was noted by the Teaching Council on 1 October 2018 and can be found here.
