NIPT will provide a professional development day (PD Day) for all Droichead schools who trained before June 2017. Find out more about the practical implications of the Teaching Council’s new Droichead Policy for your PST. These PD days will run in selected locations nationwide during the week beginning 18th September.
Working in an SEN setting? Register to attend a new workshop offering practical support on how to write an effective Individual Education Plan. These workshops are running from 18th-28th September in selected education centres.
Droichead Quality Assurance process was initiated with a view to examining the quality and consistency of the Droichead process in a number of schools involved in the Droichead pilot phase which commenced in September 2013. To read the 2017 DQA Report, please click on the link below:
The aim of the research will be to provide an insight into the profile of the schools engaging in Droichead and the PST members. To examine the elements of the NIPT training and support which has an impact on the teachers practice and best supports their role, to investigate the benefits and challenges encountered in their role as PST members and to highlight to what extent engaging in the Droichead process is changing the school culture.
