Recruitment of Primary and Post-Primary Associates
National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT), a cross-sectoral support service for newly qualified teachers (NQTs) under the remit of the Teacher Education Section (TES) of the Department of Education and Skills (DES) may have a number of opportunities for the position of NIPT Associate 2018/2019.
An associate is a registered teacher, who is engaged to work in a part-time capacity with NIPT to complement and extend the capacity of the service. An associate will be required to make her/himself available to work for 20 school days in any one year. The needs of the organisation may also necessitate work/training in the evenings/weekends/holiday periods until August 31st.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and serving Primary and Post-Primary teachers who are fully registered with the Teaching Council, hold a recognised post and have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience. Candidates with Droichead experience are particularly welcome.
Following the application process, a panel will be created for 2018/2019. Associate positions will be offered to panel-members based on the needs of the organisation at national and regional levels. Please note a place on the panel does not guarantee work as an associate.
